• Include regular relaxing activities such as yoga, meditation, massage or aromatherapy

• Keep active with activities such as walking, swimming or cycling

• Slow down at meals by sitting at a table, chewing food thoroughly and avoiding distractions

• Log your food and symptoms whilst making changes so you can see what has helped

Symptomtargeted advice

• Bloating and wind:

• Reduce intake of gas-producing foods e.g. beans and pulses, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower and sugar-free mints/chewing gum

• Increase intake of oats and add linseeds (up to 1 tbsp per day with an extra 150 ml of fluid)
